The increasing number of acts of police brutality across America, especially since 9/11, is not a haphazard trend. In point of fact, this intensifying and alarming pattern is the product of a pre-planned scheme to stealthily undermine confidence in law enforcement nationwide among other things.
The incessant brutality and unnecessary murder of citizens is also the direct result of the systematic militarization of police and sheriff departments around the country. Not only are local law enforcement departments everywhere given paramilitary and military equipment by the U.S. Federal Government, personnel are now regularly trained using harsh military techniques for both crowd control as well as individual incapacitation and arrest. →

Currently, we’re living in an upside-down and backward world where the minority of people hold all the microphones, successfully shouting over a potential majority of people who don’t like the way things are going.
I truly believe that most Americans don’t hate their neighbors, don’t indulge in cruelty for the sake of cruelty, don’t indulge in cruel behavior toward those of other races than their own, and just want to live their lives with what happiness they can find. This is not to say that racism does not exist – it does and I’ve seen it in action. It also isn’t to say that there aren’t extremists who wallow in hatred – there are and on all fringes of the political spectrum.
The trouble happens when one of those fringes tries to silence everybody else. And it’s working. →

Be considerate – take care of yourself, but be aware of and think about your actions/reactions and how they affect others.
Be slow to judge – every person has a paradigm they exist in and you most likely do not see the whole picture. Remember, those you judge may be clamoring to be first in line to judge you.
Be quick to release negative emotion – negatively flows around and follows you like a dark cloud. Other are less willing to connect with a person that exudes negativity. Release, knowing you are being gentle with your body in the process.
Be kind – a moment of kindness to yourself or another sends ripples that will always be returned to you ten-fold. You may not remember the kindnesses shown, but The Universe always does.
Show respect – in showing respect for yourself and others, you are showing The Universe that, no matter what your/their station in life, they are deserving of receiving all the good your Earth has to offer.
Always love – it is what you were designed to do. It is not necessary to like every person that surrounds you but, love in it’s purest form is. Each person you come in contact with carries a piece of The Divine Spark within them. If you cannot love the person, love the Spark. ~ Creator
