In our society, we have a very two dimensional understanding of maturity. Most people define it as an accumulation of experiences that come through the process of aging. But this isn’t really true.

The truth is that maturity has very little to do with our external experiences, and everything to do with our inner processing of the world. Yes, you might have experienced a lot of challenges and hardships in life, but if you weren’t present and aware of what was happening and the way in which it could help you to learn and grow, all of your experiences simply turned into moments where you unconsciously and emotionally reacted, not maturing at all.

There is a pervasive belief that appropriate boundaries are difficult, rigid, separating, and always met with resistance. We wish to change the energy associated with this topic by suggesting there is such a thing as beautiful boundaries.

Beautiful boundaries, simply put, create a space of safety and empowerment for everyone involved. They are designed to honour each person in their highest expression of self. They foster growth, expansion, self discovery, and support.

More, they flow according to the specific needs of each now moment. They are never about selfishly denying anyone but rather moving into a balance that loves and empowers all. From such a painful place it is natural to seek relief. The first steps must be to self nurture, to heal, to shift energetically into a better feeling space. Many people are in survival mode at this point of their journey, and are very fragile. The purpose of this phase is to discover the spiritual supports that are available to them, to open up to new ideas and ways of doing things, and to find their way out of crisis. This is about stabilization, comfort, and relief.
