
I had to open this article with this incredibly relatable quote from the Matrix: “You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.”
This was my childhood. It probably was or is your childhood or adulthood if you are reading this. That feeling like “this can’t be it.” That feeling that leads us to search for something beyond our everyday world and asks us to question who we truly are and why we are here. The challenge is, our world is designed to stop this search. Whether it’s societal pressures, forms of religion that put everything outside of us, pop culture or the very basic need to have to work constantly to survive, we collectively struggle to go deeper within our reality…..
