An unprecedented number of Canadians, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, are gathering in the nation’s capital to peacefully protest against all mandates related to COVID, including vaccine mandates.

It’s a large gathering sparked by Canadian truckers who were protesting mandatory vaccine mandates affecting their industry. They created a convoy of trucks headed to Ottawa from across Canada that may have set a Guinness world record for the longest ever convoy. Most truckers are now in Ottawa with tens of thousands of people. They are set to stay until the Canadian government abolishes all COVID vaccine mandates and other measures.

• The Facts: The American Institute for Economic Research recently shared some information that calls into question the effectiveness of lockdown measures for combating COVID.

• Reflect On: Are we doing more harm than the virus by implementing lockdowns? Are governments representing the will of the people and talking with independendent scientists/experts who oppose the measures being taken? Why are these experts ignored/unacknowledged?

We are currently in the “second wave” of COVID, and almost a year into the pandemic that’s seen government health authorities shut down entire countries and mandate masks as well as social distancing. Many doctors and scientists have been raising a number of concerns that completely oppose these measures that’ve been taken to combat the virus. One great examples is The Great Barrington Declaration, which I’ve written about before. It was initiated by Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist, Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School a physician and epidemiologist. It has an impressive list of co-signers and has also been signed by more than 50,000 doctors and scientists.

Update: Nearly 45,000 Doctors & Scientists Sign Declaration Opposing COVID Lockdowns | Collective Evolution

• The Facts: More than 44,000 scientists and doctors as well as more than 446,000 people have signed the Great Barrington Declaration, opposing a second COVID-19 lockdown because, according to them, it’s doing much more harm than good.

• Reflect On: Why are opinions and narratives that oppose the WHO being censored, ridiculed, and largely ignored? Why aren’t they discussed openly and transparently?

Implementation of the current draconian measures that so extremely restrict fundamental rights can only be justified if there is reason to fear that a truly, exceptionally dangerous virus is threatening us. Do any scientifically sound data exist to support this contention for COVID-19?
