Tidigt kom uppgifter om att malariamedicin klorokin kan hjälpa mot covid-19 och många länder har använt det med framgång. Framförallt när det kombineras med zink.

I Sverige har man valt att ignorerar detta och skyller på risken för allvarliga biverkningar. Med resultat från andra länder och vetenskapliga studier som börjar komma in eller återupptäcks (se nedan) står det klart att det var ett felaktigt beslut.

WHO gjorde för något år sedan en genomgång av malariamedicin och eventuella störningar på hjärtat men fann ingen sådan risk. Mig veterligen finns än så länge inga rapporterade fall för de som fått klorokin mot covid-19. →
