The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a milestone document in the history of human rights. Drafted by representatives with different legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of the world, the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations. It sets out, for the first time, fundamental human rights to be universally protected and it has been translated into over 500 languages. →

You have an old saying on your planet, “Starve a cold and feed a fever.” We would borrow that and say instead, “Starve your fears, and feed your love!”

The viruses on your planet live off fear. They starve with love. Fear creates a chemical cocktail in your body that weakens your healthy cells and creates imbalances that allow these parasitic energies to take hold. You might say to us, “Wait a minute… I get sick when I get tired and worn down, not when I’m in fear!” We would lovingly point out that getting tired and worn down is a result of fear, vs. faith in a loving Source that would support you if you more freely supported your own well-being. →

(Nya Dagbladet)  Traditionell europeisk nationalism byggde på att man tillhörde en särskild folkgrupp och/eller land med en viss historia samt traditioner och kultur, vilka man ville bevara och hävda. Sådana grunder har nu varierande styrka men syns idag vara starkast i Östeuropa, eftersom kommunisttiden där hindrade det mesta av icke-marxistiskt nytänkande om samhället. Det gör att äldre synsätt nu är särskilt kraftfulla i de länderna, eftersom kommunisttidens bidrag till kulturen i mycket förkastats. Reaktionen mot att inledningsvis ockuperas och sedan bli kommunistiska diktaturer och tvingas ingå i östblocket förstärkte naturligen också ländernas nationalism avsevärt. Men utvecklingen därefter har successivt försvagat en del äldre inslag och stöttepelare för nationalism, medan andra fortlever. →

Even those of us who haven’t experienced severe trauma such as physical or sexual abuse most likely still have wounds that we are unknowingly carrying around with us all the time. Even though our parents might have done the best they could, and perhaps were typically loving and supportive, there could still be scars left on us and stored deep within our subconscious. These scars may lead us to experience the constant need for validation and approval, feelings of unworthiness or not being good enough, fear of abandonment, or perhaps a deep lack of self-love. →
